The Creality CR-Scan Ferret 3D scanner is a very powerful entry level 3D scanner that makes 3D scanning accessible to the general public. The Ferret 3D scanner can be used with a variety of smartphones to become a fully hand held 3D scanner. It is ideal for scanning objects where you need to move around the object. The power bank in the handle of the tripod gives you many hours of 3D scanning fun.

CR-Scan Ferret is ideal for scanning medium to large objectsSizes:

Smallest object that can be scanned: 150x150x150mm
Largest object that can be scanned: 2000x2000x2000mm (2x2x2 meter)
Ideal for human faces, human bodies, sculptures, carvings etc.

NOT SUITABLE:

transparent, reflective, through-holes, very thin.
Non stationary for example moving animal
Oversized objects like walls, rooms
Small objects like keys and coins, scissors, gears, jewellery or tiny electronic components.

Scan Modes:

Geometry mode - for objects with rich geometry (Statues, carvings)
Texture Mode - for the objects with vivid irregular graphical pattern

Please go to this link to download the software for the scanner or the user manual. For scanning via your phone, at least 8GB of RAM on your phone is recommended to access all scanning features. There is no iPhone IOS version of the software at the moment, so iPhones cannot be used for scanning.
